Geared Coupling

Geared Coupling is the mechanical device that finds application in transmission of torque between two non-collinear shafts. The coupling comprises flexible joints that come fixed to each shaft with two joints coming connected through third shaft called spindle.

Further, the joint comes in 1:1 gear ratio for both internal and external gear pair with crowned tooth flanks as well as outer diameters of external gears so as to provide for angular displacement between two gears.
